Geldelis

Our Policy CSR

We firmly believe that our growth must be achieved while respecting the people around us, the environment, and future generations. As a family-owned small business in Brittany with a commitment spanning more than 30 years, our mission is to provide healthy and affordable food, while actively contributing to human development and the preservation of our environment

1. PUT PEOPLE AT THE HEART OF OUR SUCCESS

Health, safety, and well-being in the workplace, respect for human rights, and the ongoing development of skills are at the heart of our commitments.

A weekly meeting has been established to bring together employees from all departments to share the work they have completed and the issues they have addressed. This meeting promotes communication, cross-departmental collaboration, and a better understanding of the company’s challenges.

Cross-Functional Management

2. Providing a Sustainable Food Supply for Our Consumers

Food security and sustainable innovation are key commitments of the company.

We are pursuing a “clean” approach aimed at developing products free of unnecessary additives, with a focus on high-quality ingredients and more natural recipes. This approach meets consumer expectations while reinforcing our commitment to healthier and more responsible food choices.

3. Reducing Our Environmental Impact for a Sustainable Planet

Reducing our environmental impact depends on optimizing our energy and water consumption, recycling waste, sourcing locally and responsibly, and developing more sustainable packaging.

In 2024, Vitré Communauté and six companies in the Haut-Montigné area, including Geldelis, launched a project to generate and share solar energy. Thanks to the installation of 2,500 photovoltaic panels, this local grid will cover approximately 25% of the participating companies’ electricity needs, thereby helping to reduce CO₂ emissions and promote the region’s energy self-sufficiency. The first photovoltaic panels were installed in April 2026.

4. Lead with integrity and responsibility

Integrity, business ethics, and participatory CSR governance guide our day-to-day actions. Through a strict anti-corruption policy, an internal whistleblower program, and the involvement of employees from various business units, we are strengthening a responsible and transparent approach that is consistent with our values.

The CSR Committee meets twice a year to raise employee awareness of corporate social responsibility issues and to encourage their involvement in the initiatives undertaken. It also serves as a forum for gathering their opinions and suggestions in order to continuously improve the company’s CSR approach.
